fait main (mademyhand): I endeavour to recycle materials in the production of my work; there is such waste in our society and many interesting pieces are overlooked which can be utilised in beautiful jewellery and accessories. This includes the “reinvention” of familiar items and fabrics which may well have had another life…to see them in a new “state” is quite exciting… I have an extensive collection of vintage buttons, buckles and haberdashery items which I use as embellishments, and they in themselves tell a story
